I have now got a clear idea of the audience in which I am aiming my products at so this should give me an idea of what will be expected of me and what they see as needed in terms of a romantic drama. There are conventions in which some of the audience look for and are expecting due to the previous texts all offering similar, the audience become so used to it so I will add these but change them a little bit.

For example, the audience expects:

-          Colours that indicate passion and the genders, for example pink blue and red.

-          Black and White effect that could add drama in the trailer or on print products.

-          Two characters that experience many obstacles.

-          The suspense of will they wont they.

This is how I am planning on doing my trailer, so that all of these are indicated but are not similar to others of the same genre.
