Primary Audience Research

This is the first response to the questionnaires I had handed out. From this I can see that it was a 16 year old male who was filling out the questionnaire and it can be said that he does in fact like romantic dramas because he knows what to look for, and from this I can see that he is attracted to mainly the imagery and fonts on posters or magazines as well as the colour red because it indicates ''Passion''. He seems to like the ''Bride wars'' poster because it shows the clash of the two characters and replicates the ''drama'' factor, alongside this he seemed to prefer the empire magazine because of the colours and the close up to show the emotion. From this I know what I could include in my products.

This is the second response to the questionnaires I had handed out. From this I can see that it was a 20 year old male who was filling out the questionnaire and it can be said that he does in fact like romantic dramas because he knows what to look for, and from this I can see that he is attracted to mainly the imagery and fonts on posters or magazines as well as the colour red because it indicates ''Passion''. However, when looking for a film of the same genre he puts the romantic comedy ''Friends with Benefits'' this could suggest that he likes something comical to happen in the trailer, and I may use a clip of ''behind the scenes'' to show some mistakes that were made. He seems to like the ''Boy girl thing'' poster because it shows the clash of the two characters and it is more his type of film, alongside this he seemed to prefer the total film magazine because of the colours and the love triangle image which could replicate the emotion. From this I know what I could include in my products.

From this I can see that it was a 49 year old male who was filling out the questionnaire and it can be said that he does in fact like romantic dramas because he knows what to look for, and from this I can see that he is attracted to mainly the imagery of two characters and fonts on posters or magazines as well as the bright colours to replicate the idea that love overcomes all. He seems to like the colourful "a walk to remember" poster because it shows the clash closeness of the characters and shows clearly the "romance" factor, alongside this he seemed to prefer the entertainment magazine because it suits the genre and the close up shows the emotion of both characters. From this I know what I could include in my products.

From this I can see that it was a 17 year old female who was filling out the questionnaire and it can be said that she does not in fact like romantic dramas but she knows what to look for, and from this I can see that she is pointing out what is sterotypically expected such as the colours red and pink, with two characters. She seems to like the ''Bride wars'' poster because it shows the clash of the two characters and replicates the ''drama'' factor and she thought it was an interesting pose, alongside this she seemed to prefer the empire magazine because of the colours and she states the magazine itself is eye catching. From this I know what I could include in my products.

From this I can see that it was a 18 year old female who was filling out the questionnaire and it can be said that she does in fact like romantic dramas because she knows what is expected, and from this I can see that she is attracted to the way the characters are represented and pictured with each other, along with the fonts on posters or magazines as well as the colour red because it indicates ''Passion and Love''. She seems to like the black and white ''A walk to remember'' poster because it shows the love of the two characters but the dullness of the image replicates the ''drama and sadness'' factor, alongside this he seemed to prefer the entertainment magazine because of the colours pose and the close up to show the emotion, also because of the blue background and how the layout works in general. From this I know what I could include in my products.

From this I can see that it was a 49 year old female who was filling out the questionnaire and it can be said that she does in fact have some interest in romantic dramas because she knows what to expect, and from this I can see that she is attracted to mainly the chemistry between the two characters and the status of the actors. She seems to like the black and white "a walk to remember" poster because it replicates the ''drama'' factor, alongside this he seemed to prefer the entertainment magazine because of the colours and the close up to show the emotion also she was kept in suspense thinking "will they or wont they".
